Anna Soloviova is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher for the Jean Monnet Module EVADEM (Implementation of European Values as a Basis of Democracy in Ukraine), Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Political Science of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University (Mykolaiv, Ukraine), PhD in Political Science (2012).

  • Since 2011 — Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science of Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University.
  • From September 2016 — Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.
  • From August 2021 — Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism.
  • Since September 2025 — Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Political Science of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.

Between 2013 and 2016, she combined her teaching activities with the duties of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University.

International Activities & Projects

Anna Soloviova takes an active part in international activities and internationalization of the university and is actively involved in international research projects and internship programs.

  • Senior Teacher and researcher of the Jean Monnet Module “Implementation of European Values as the Basis of Democracy in Ukraine” (EVADEM).
  • Researcher in the Erasmus+ project PROMENT “Promoting Professional Education and Student Engagement through a Comprehensive Mentoring/Tutoring System in Higher Education Institutions.”

Student Supervision & Achievements

She consistently encourages students’ research activities, evidenced by the numerous awards and prize-winning places repeatedly achieved by students of the Faculty of Political Science in national competitions for papers written under her supervision.

Research & Publications

Together with her teaching practice, Anna Soloviova is actively engaged in research, being the author and co-author of numerous academic publications, and regularly participates in scientific conferences, seminars, and round tables at both national and international levels.

  • Published more than 65 scholarly articles, monographs, textbooks, and methodological guidelines.

Public Engagement

She is actively involved in public life, participating in educational and outreach projects that contribute to the development of journalism and the promotion of democratic values in society.
